It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Marjorie McKay (Stephenville, Newfoundland), who passed away on August 5, 2025, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Parsons and Margaret Parsons; and her husband Howard F. McKay. She is survived by: her son-in-law Jack Abbott; her siblings, Roy (Phyllis), Jimmy (Lizzie), Harold, Anita Dennison (Morley), Edna, Larry Tavares and Doris Downey (Sibby); her daughters, Sandra Abbott of Stephenville and Margaret Armour (Graham) of Kippens; and her granddaughters, Kimberly Armour of Ottawa and Sandi Armour of Ottawa. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, Marjorie has requested donations in her memory be made to The Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital Foundation, or to the South West Coast SPCA, Stephenville.
