He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sheppard and Margaret Sheppard; his daughters, Theresa and Collette; his siblings, Richard Sheppard, Thomas Drake, Eileen Mullowney (James) and Clarissa Walsh (John); his siblings-in-law, John Joe Ridgley (Bridget), Leo Dunphy, Josephine Sheppard, Sis Sheppard and Rosalie Piercey (Norman); and his niece Nadine Pittman.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Marie; his children, Bernice, Colleen (Bill), Gilbert (Janice) and Phil; his grandsons, Owen Thomas, Paul Sheppard, Kyle Anderson and Jordan Snow (Dana); his great grandchildren, Caleb, Lillian, Ava, Sophie, Liam, Kylie Rae and Adalyn Mae; his siblings, John, Phil and Bernice Dunphy; and his sisters-in-law, Minnie Sheppard, Margaret Langdon and Charlotte "Lottie" Drake. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
