We announce the death of Percy Jospeh Young (Stephenville, Newfoundland), who passed away on October 14, 2026, at the age of 80. Percy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Young and Jane Alexander; and his siblings, Edmund Young, Faron Young, Richard Young, Gilbert Young, Kate Parsons, Bernice Young, Mae Swyers and Martha King.
He is survived by: his wife Pearl; his children, Cory, Dwight (Mandy) and Vanessa (Darrell); his grandchildren, Cory, Kyle, Courtney, Callen, Alyssa, Nevaeh and Logan; his sister Carolyn; Luna and Raven. He is also survived by partner and the love of his life.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Russells Funeral Home (57 Prince Rupert Dr, Stephenville, NL A2N2Z5). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at 18 Hospital Rd, Stephenville Crossing, NL A0N2C0.
