He is survived by: his wife June; his son Brett (Jessika McMann); his daughter-in-law Denise Pollard (George); his grandsons, Hunter, Connor (Taylor), Mason McMann (Nadi) and Braedon McMann; his siblings, Clara Hennessey (Ed), Carmel O'Brien, Petrina Dorsammy (Buzz), Ursula Jarvis (Al), Doreen Medensky and John (Christine); and his in-laws, Norma Fradsham (Harvey), Rosalind Priddle (John), Brada Purchase (Joe), Dana Brett, Kirk Brett and Pierre Gagne. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
He loved making many donations to his friends while playing poker which was greatly appreciated, and he enjoyed making fun of any and all Montreal Canadian fans whenever conversations about hockey arose.
