With solemn reverence, we commemorate Philip Joseph Simon (Stephenville, Newfoundland), whose life came to an end on May 9, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Simon and Maltilda Cornect; and his siblings, Pius Simon, Leo Paul Simon, Douglas Simon and Carrie Benoit.
He is survived by: his wife Doreen Kendall; his daughter Sandra Jalonen; his stepchildren, Lorna King and Lloyd Kendall; and his siblings, Dave Young, Eileen Morris, Jeannette Rouzes and Mary Marjorie Gallant. He is also survived by four grandchildren and a large circle of nieces, nephews, military comrades, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion (45 Oregon Dr, Stephenville, NL A2N2X7).
