He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Ploughman and Florence Ploughman. He is survived by: his wife Rozanne Ploughman; his sister Wanda LeDrew of Bishop's Falls; his sons, Paul Ploughman (Vicki Sheaves) and Robert Ploughman (Joseph Marcelo); and his grandchildren, Rose, Addison and Deacon. He is also survived by three beautiful grandchildren.
