She was predeceased by : her parents, Maude Short and Albert Short. She is survived by : her children, Bruce Gale, Darlene Reade (Rick), Christine Janes (Rick) and Edward Gale; her grandchildren, Stephen Pollack, Leah, Daniel and Michael Gale; her great grandchild Julia Gale; her boyfriend Philip Halbot; and her siblings, Isabelle, Annie, Angela and Clarence. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A burial was held on Thursday, February 11th 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Heatherton United Cemetery (Unnamed Road, Highlands, NL A0N1N0). Visitation will be held due to Covid restrictions. Interment Service only will be held at the Heatherton United Cemetery on Thursday, February 11th, 2021 at 2:00 pm by Rev. Bruce Rideout with a limit of 25 people due to Covid restrictions.

As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to a the Heatherton United Church Fund.
