He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Purcell and Mary Joseph Purcell; his sisters, Mary Whitten and Lucy Clarke (Douglas); his niece Elizabeth Whitten; and his nephew Fred Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Purcell; his children, Shawn Purcell (Tammy), Jay Colombe (Angel), Sheri Lynn George (Rodney) and Roxanne Letiec (Carla); his siblings, John Purcell (Cathy) and Catherine Jacobs; his siblings-in-law, Gerald Colombe (Sherry), Bernard Louvelle (Bernadette), Dean Louvelle (Ali), Zeita Colombe, Muriel Davis, Alma Sheppard (Melvin) and Patty Colombe (Kevin); his grandchildren, Grace Letiec, Kiana Purcell, Brianna Purcell, Shelby Bessey, Kyle, George (Chloe), Tristan George, Andrew George, Landon Purcell and Hunter Kelly; and his great grandchildren, Scarlett and Kinsley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
