It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Veronica Gillis (Stephenville, Newfoundland), who passed away on August 31, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Bryce Gillis; her son Jerome Gillis; her parents, Daniel Renouf and Mary Renouf; and her siblings, Lock Collier, Patrick Collier, James Collier and Francis Jesso.

She is survived by: her children, Clifton Gillis (Geneva), Gerard Gillis (Nola), Danny Gillis (Ann), John Gillis, Cosmas Gillis (Susie Martin), Lawrence Gillis (Joan), Bryce Jr. Gillis, Maryanne Gillis, Philomena Laming (Gerry), Carol Gillis and Monica Driscoll (Michael); and her sisters, Rita Benoit and Mary Wheeler. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions there will be a private family service at Maria Regina Parish, with interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Port au Port.

As expressions of sympathy, donations in Veronica's memory may be made to the Maria Regina Parish.
