It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Henry MacKay (Stephenville, Newfoundland), born in Harbour Breton, Newfoundland, who passed away on April 12, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Blanche; his parents, Rev Herbert MacKay and Dorothy MacKay; and his sister Joyce MacKay. He is survived by: his children, Don MacKay (Kathy) and Susan Lambert (Travis); his grandsons, Matthew MacKay (Jing), Miles Lambert and Jack Lambert; and his great grandchildren, Dean and Will Shen-MacKay.
