He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Wiseman and Geraldine Wiseman; and his stepdaughter Bonita Woods. He is survived by: his wife Gladys Wiseman; his daughters, Hiedi Andrews (Adam) and Haley Ryan (Justin); and his granddaughters, Nora and Evelyn Ryan. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wayne's memory to the Palliative Care Program in Corner Brook, Newfoundland.
