Yayoi Rodriguez Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 2, 2025, at the age of 97, Yayoi Rodriguez (Stephenville, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Carlos; her son Hilario; and her parents, Teruko Hayashi and Kametarou Hayashi. She is survived by: her children, Tony (Brenda), Rafael, Romeo (Rhonda) and Lora (Stephen); her grandchildren, Andre, Jesse, Andrew, Jade and Matthew; and her great grandchildren, Chloe, Brianna, Kayleigh, Harper, River and Alara.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Russells Funeral Home (57 Prince Rupert Dr, Stephenville, NL A2N2Z5). A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery.
