He was predeceased by: his former wife Lisa Burry; his grandparents, Lambert, Joan Hodder, Harold and Lucy Hodder; his mother-in-law Mildred Andrews; and his sister-in-law Christine Andrews.

He is survived by: his wife Effie; his children, Sarah, Jordan and Shania (Brandon); his grandchildren, Allie of Rowdie, J. J., Syra, Ethan and Aaliyah; his parents, Lester and Clarice; his brothers, Cordell (Trudy), Collin and Clifford (Danielle); and his siblings-in-law, Ivan, David (Veronica), Dennis (Jennifer), Warrick (Angela) and Daphne. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.
