She is survived by: her husband Leander; her daughters, Darlene Wheeler (Craig) and Doreen Troake (Pastor Hardy); her grandchildren, Matthew Wheeler (Tamara), Nicholas Wheeler (Emma) and Kylie Wheeler; her great grandchild Jameson Wheeler; her siblings, Wallace (Elizabeth), Mable Jenkins, Lorraine Barnes, Wanda Barnes (David), Emily Hill (Keith), Bradley and Gola Jones (Al); her siblings-in-law, Ruth Barnes, Patsy Hawkins (Alwood), Gloria Leyte (Larry) and Terry Barnes (Trudy); and her caregivers, Cherrie Parel-Alagos, Stephanie Budden and Pam Compton.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Summerford Pentecostal Church. A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
