He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxwell and Violet; his brother Donnelly; his parents-in-law, Arthur and Susie Burt; and his siblings-in-law, Wallace, William (Amy), Stanley (Mildred), Mervin, Jim, Daxter (Elizabeth), Maxine (Roger), Kathleen (Doyle), Elsie (David) and Ida.
He is survived by: his wife Christine; his siblings, Betty (Jim), Doreen, Ernest (Mona), Helen (Brian), Cordella (Gary) and Josephine (Gary); his siblings-in-law, Bernice, Pat (Ross), Fannie, Geraldine (Chesley), Tammy (Scott) and Walter (Myrtle); and his caregivers, Amy and Heather. He is also survived by nieces, nephews extended family.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 22nd 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the New World Island Funeral Home (177 To The Isles Rd, Summerford, NL A0G 4E0). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 23rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church (46 Main St, Carter's Cove, NL A0G1P0).
Donations in Stephen's memory may be given to the Pentecostal Cemetery Fund, Virgin Arm, NL.
