He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hackett and Alice Hackett; his siblings, Bill, John and Marjorie; his parents-in-law, Helen Mary and John Joseph Bolt; his siblings-in-law, Sally Bolt, Wally Norman and Doug Cooper; and his nephew Grant Bolt.
He is survived by: his wife Diane; and his close friends, Gerald, Felix, Will, Michael and Don. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church. A vigil service will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
