It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annie Myra Carew (Torbay, Newfoundland), born in Normans Cove, Newfoundland, who passed away on November 26, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Albert; her son Danny; her daughter-in-law Karen; her parents, Samuel Newhook and Dora Newhook; and her siblings, Hubert, Alec, Grace Piercey and Phyllis Norman.
She is survived by: her children, David (Dolores), Terry (Susan), Joan (Gil Weir), Pat (Joan Elliott), Albert (Anita), Ann Marie (Wayne Amminson), Dale (John Barfoot), Denise (Jack Fagan) and Michael (Michelle); her daughter-in-law Liz Price; and her sisters-in-law, Marie Dean and Marguerite Godfrey.
