It is with sadness that the passing of Brian Raphael Joy (Torbay, Newfoundland) is shared. Brian, born on October 24, 1952, passed away on August 24, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Joy (O'Mara) and Andrew Joy; his siblings, Andy Joy and Carol Hann (Joy); his parents-in-law, Ronald Pollard and Eileen Pollard (O'Mara); his sister-in-law Maureen Williams (Pollard); and his nephew Joe Riche.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Joy (Pollard); his children, Stephen Joy (Christa) and Heather Misik (Kurt); his grandchildren, Aron, Joshua, Emma, Brandon, Brooke, Thomas and Emily; his pet Archie; his brothers, Michael (Ellie), David (Linda) and Stephen (Donna); and his sister-in-law Hilda Pollard Milley. He is also survived by many other close friends, relatives.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Caul's Funeral Home Chapel.
