She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald J. Furlong; her parents, William Dalton and Margaret Dalton; and her siblings, William, Walter, Frank, Mary, Madeline, Betty, Viola and Eileen.
She is survived by: her children, Ron (Donna), Bill (Sandra), Pam (Dave) and Glenn (Kelly); her grandchildren, Matthew, Christopher, Kelsea (Drew), Morgan (Matt), Brandon (Regan) and Maria (Ben); and her great grandchild Kaiden.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C 2G8). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Basilica Cathedral of St. John the Baptist (200 Military Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2E8).
