It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Somerton (Torbay, Newfoundland), who passed away on June 18, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Carol shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Carol farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Spurrell and Ella Spurrell; her niece Monica Ralph; and her fiancé Frank Flynn. She is survived by: her children, Angie, Kim (Richard), Jimmy (Mavis) and Coady (Laura); and her nephew Stephen Ralph. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
