She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Simms and Eileen Simms; her siblings, Jack Simms (Jean) and Barbara Hurley; and her brother-in-law Wince Stansbury.

She is survived by: her husband Bernard Mahoney; her daughters, Sandra Mahoney (Patrick Evans), Margie Mahoney and Amanda Mahoney (Adam Pretty); her grandchildren, Hayley, Liam Power, Joshua, Jonathan (Olivia), A. J. Mahoney and Tyson Pretty; her great grandchild Conner Butler-Mahoney; her siblings, Sandra Stansbury, Larry Simms (Sharon) and Margaret Simms (Catherine); her close friends, Tony Constantine, Hilda Hayward, Chantel O'Dell and Brooke Dwyer; Gregory Power, Kelsey Butler, Leroy and Leon Hayward. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Due to Covid-19 Restrictions, the service will be by invite only, however it will be livestreamed.
