He was predeceased by: his children, Neil Maynard and Melissa Maynard Power; his parents, Harry Maynard and Marg Maynard; his brother James Maynard (Jim); his parents-in-law, William and Mary Bursey; and his brother-in-law William Bursey (Bill).
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Maynard; his son-in-law Jonathan Power; his grandchildren, Blake and Everly; and his siblings, Joe (Joan), Maureen (late Raymond), David (Cathy Ann), Catherine (Gerald), Marion (Dave), Harry (Doreen), Geneive (Gord), Theresa (Howie) and Lillian (Iggy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Church (2 Convent Ln, Torbay, NL A1K1K7). A burial was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at the St. Michaels Cemetery.
