It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Corriene Murphy (Torbay, Newfoundland), who passed away on November 29, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Murphy and Kay Murphy (Ryan). She is survived by: her siblings, Lorraine, Ron, Maureen (Ryan), Gord, Yvette (Lise), Lynn (Mark), Eugene, Cathy (Patrick), Perry, Geraldine (Keith), Robert and Yvonne (Nicole); and her friends, Patsy Gosse, April Learie, Bernadette and Gerry Power. She is also survived by children of her own, her nephews, nieces and, in some cases, their children.

“We are both so very sad to hear of Corriene’s passing. We haven’t seen each other in years, but always had such a great laugh when we were together. Corriene and I worked at Daybreak Parent Child Centre during the 1980s. We also had fun outside of work with friends. Her continued work with families was inspired.
