She was predeceased by: her parents, Joan Philpott and Patrick Philpott; her siblings, Regina, Margrette, Kevin and Derrick; and her pets, Ringo and Buddy.
She is survived by: her children, Cameron and Amanda (Justin); her grandson Malcolm; her siblings, Joan (Gerry), Marie, Diane (Andrew) and John (Jo); and her friend Bill. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Elks Lodge 245 (19 Carpasian Rd, St. John's, NL A1B2P9).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Cynthia's memory may be made to the SPCA St. John's.
