He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Bishop (Peggy); his father Chesley Bishop; his sister Cynthia (Stan); and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Duggan and Phillip Rice.
He is survived by: his mother Phyllis Bishop; his siblings, Jim, Donald, Peggy, Sandra (Bill) and Randy (Donna); and his in-laws, Bill Martin (Kathleen), Gerry Duggan and Mary Withycombe (Kent). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 23rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist (200 Military Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2E8). The inurnment was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 at the Mount Carmel Cemetery, Columbarium.
