He was predeceased by: his wife Lillian; his parents, Michael and Bertha; his grandson Zachary Pittman; and his siblings, Richard, Jack, Michael, Clarence, Brian, Clara, Liz and Beatrice.
He is survived by: his children, David Tony and Karen Pittman (Bob); his grandsons, Jason Pittman and Bradley Pittman (Samantha); his great grandchildren, Emily and Aria; and his siblings, Doug (Louise), Robert (Louise) and Carol Hogan (Ralph).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Caul's Chapel (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Children's Wish Foundation, Candlelighters of Newfoundland or to a charity of one's choice.
