It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas John Callahan (Torbay, Newfoundland), born in Harbour Grace, Newfoundland, who passed away on June 26, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Sharron Kelly of Grand Falls; his children, Stevan (Renee) and Jennifer (David); his grandchildren, Brendan (Selena), Hunter, Phoebe, Oliver and Paul; his great grandchild Thelma; his stepgrandchildren, Kerstin, Austin, Ralph, Walter, Joe, Brian and Melvin; his close friends, Roy, Zita Rideout, Jim, Karen Gosse, Bruce Dumeresque, Ralph, Sherrill Pitcher, Harvey, Loretta Goodyear, John and Rosalind Priddle; his brothers, Sarina (Peter Ferguson), Loren (Sherry Kelly), Ian (Donna Kelly) and Tony (Mary Kelly); his cousin Peggy (Dennis); Darlene. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, other cousins, and a wide circle of friends.
