He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Boland (Pittman) and Edward Boland Sr.; his parents-in-law, William Mahoney and Genevieve Mahoney (Congdon); his sisters, Patricia Boland (Daphne) and Frances Dollimont; and his sisters-in-law, Maggie Boland, Shirley Boland and Judy Walsh.
He is survived by: his wife Philomena (Mahoney); his daughter Tabitha; his son-in-law Matthew Hicks; his grandchildren, Max, Mason, Clara and Ethan; his siblings, Elizabeth Goldsworthy (Ross), Joan Young (Derrick), Julia Boland, Francine Abbott (Dennis), Cathy Goodland (Gerard), Leo Boland and Frank Boland; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Mahoney (Donna) and Bernadette Snow (David).
The family requests no flowers but any donations can be made to the Palliative Care unit at the Miller Centre who took such good care of Ed during his time there.
