He was predeceased by: his father Michael Oakley; his brother-in-law Alfred Ivany; his mother Frances Oakley; his siblings, Mike and Margie; his niece Ann; and his nephew Matthew.
He is survived by: his nieces, Renee Cole and Kimberley Oakley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces & nephews, as well as great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Caul's Funeral Home Chapel (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ed's memory can be made to the Daffodil Place, or the Knights of Columbus (Terra Nova Council 1452).
