She was predeceased by: her husband Wesley; her son Gregory Kirk; her siblings, Carmel Hynes (late Patrick), Thomas, Leo, Jack (Marilyn Meaney) and George; her parents, Martina Walsh Legge and Gregory Legge; her parents-in-law, Carrie Stockley Burry and Edward Burry; her brother-in-law Frank; and her grandson-in-law Steven Trickett.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janette Burry and Mary Ndwiga (Ken); her grandchildren, Michael Dowden (Jennifer Sears), Jessica Foley Trickett, Simon Foley and Dwyane Mugambi; her great grandchildren, Stella, Maeve Trickett and Riley Dowden; her sisters, Louise Maloney (late Dan) and Mary Evans (late Phil); and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Burry (late Frank) and Marion Legge (late George).
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Frances may be made to either of the following organizations; The NL Heart and Stroke, The Kidney Foundation of Canada NL, The Newfoundland and Labrador Lung Association.
