We are sad to announce that, on May 9, 2023, at the age of 94, Frances Deon (Torbay, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nellie Duguay and Angus Duguay of Saint John, NB.. She is survived by: her siblings, Teddy, Joseph, Charles, Doris, Stanley, Larry, Stella, Lillian, Margaret, Betty, Raymond and Angela; her sister-in-law Emily Duguay (Rita Walsh); her husband Roderick Deon; her children, Brian Deon (Judy Deon) and Jennifer Deon (Dave Walsh); her grandchildren, Jonathan Deon (Erin Weech), Alison Deon (Jeff Geddis) and John Deon-Walsh; and her great grandchildren, Gwendolyn and Grace Geddis. She is also survived by friends and family.
The family will receive visitors at Caul's Funeral Home, Lemarchant Road on Friday, May 12 from 2 p.m – 4 p.m and 7 p.m – 9 p.m. Fran loved flowers, so in lieu of flowers for her, please buy or plant some for someone in your own life who would appreciate them, in memory of her who valued family and friendship above all.
