He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Squires and Mary; and his siblings, John (Madonna), Edward (Mary), Ted (Carol), Tom, Richard (Bride), Theresa Howell, Helen (Ralph Emberly), Mary (Peter Melnick) and Anastasia (John Sipe).
He is survived by: his wife Vivian; his daughters, Lisa (Ken Rose) and Carolyn; his grandchildren, Gavin, Emily and Lucas; and his brother Leonard (Claudette).
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
