He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley; his daughter Donna; his parents, Thomas and Julia; and his siblings, Dennis, Derrick, Daphne, Diane and Bernadette "Bun".

He is survived by: his sons, Robert (Cheryl) and Richard (Kelsey); his son-in-law Sydney; his grandchildren, Victoria, Sydney and Adam; his brother Tom (Carol); and his sisters-in-law, Roxanne and Lyn.
