It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Joseph Tilley (Torbay, Newfoundland), who passed away on March 27, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary; his children, Bob (Linda), Marylou (Greg), Michelle, Terry (Kim) and Todd (Liz); and his siblings, Tony (Mary) and Bernadette. He was also cherished by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Recreation Program at North Pond Manor.

“We were so sad to hear about Uncle Joe. He was a great guy with a quick wit and always could be counted on to make you laugh. We were really glad to have been able to visit Joe and Mary a little while ago and relive their visits to Ontario in past years. I know my mom was always so glad to see them when they visited us.
