He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Barnes and Ellen Barnes; his siblings, Jack and Lydia Maud; his niece Schemen Kohanski; his sister Mercedes; and his brothers-in-law, Jerry Maher and Paul Byrne.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Libby"; his siblings, Tom (Ida), Vivian Dominix (late Harvey), Maxine Kohanski (late Robert) and Linda Harris (late Joe); and his siblings-in-law, Ken Byrne (June), Ron Byrne (Agnes), Mary Fahey (Raymond), Sheila Hennessey (Michael) and Catherine Conway (Bob). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
