She was predeceased by: her husband Alexander Stanford; and her grandson Jonathan. She is survived by: her children, Alexander Jr. (April) of St. John's, Elsie and Jennifer of St. John's; her siblings, Marilyn Sheppard "Babb" of Bell Island and Basil Jordan of St. John's; and her close friend Robert Mercer of Bell Island.
