She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Spurrell and Ethel Bennett (Oliver); her brothers, Jack (Josephine), Douglas (Cecilia), Walter (Rebecca), Joseph, Donald (Edward) and Austin; and her brother-in-law Raymond Taylor.
She is survived by: her husband Edward; her children, Robert (Karla) and Rhonda Neary (Scott) of St. John's, NL; her grandchildren, Avery Tuck (Anna) and Raine Tuck of Sydney; her sister Mary Taylor (Spurrell) of St. Anthony; and her sisters-in-law, Patricia and Theresa Spurrell.
Donations in mom's memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, The Parkinson's Foundation or the SPCA.
