She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Sweeney and Marion Sweeney; her significant other Lester Weir; her siblings-in-law, Roy Dawe and Rosanne Sweeney; and her uncle Vincent Luffman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle Hammond (Gerald Carrigan) and Deanne Rooth (Jason); her grandchildren, Jaxon, Zackary and Tristan Rooth; and her siblings, Peg Nixon (Everett), Brenda Sweeney, Maxine Brocklehurst (Greg), Barb Cummings (Mike), Sharon Dawe, Colleen Sweeney, Derm Sweeney (Patricia), Don Sweeney (Jen), Pat Sweeney, Tom Sweeney (Holly), Paul Sweeney (Veronica), Keith Sweeney (Barb) and Jerry Sweeney (Lee).
