He was predeceased by: his parents, James Neary and Eileen Neary; his parents-in-law, John and Marie Hawco; his brothers, Peter and Francis; and his siblings-in-law, Brenda, Linda, Mary, Shirley, Elizabeth, Mac, Vic, Hayward, Ed, Bill, Fred and John.
He is survived by: his wife Pat; his siblings, Mary, Eileen, Barb (Greg), Emily and Don; his sister-in-law Sharon (Dave); and his close friends, Enos Thomas and Margaret Neary. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Newfoundland and Labrador or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
