He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmel Barela (Cranshaw) and Cecil Barela; and his brothers, Mark Barela and Gery Barela. He is survived by: his daughters, Nicole Barela and Adrienne Barela (Chris Gollop); his stepdaughter Leanne Noftle (Chris Sexton); his grandchildren, Jessica Noftle (Dave McDonald), Seth Noftle-MacDonald, Darcy Noftle, Sophia Tilley, Elliott Tilley, Teddy Barela-Bradley and Chris Tilley; his children, Sophia and Elliott; the mother of his children Lois Skanes; his siblings, Mary Lynn Barela, Fred Barela, Ric Barela (Bambi), Michael Barela, Dennis Barela, Darrell Barela and Sonja Barela of Denver, Colorado; and his nieces and nephews, Molly, Claire and Jake.
