We are sad to announce that on July 25, 2025 we had to say goodbye to John Regis Francis Collins (Torbay, Newfoundland), born in Placentia, Newfoundland. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benedict Collins and Lillan Collins; his brothers, Victor, Bill (Judy) and David; and his parents-in-law, William and Kathleen O'Reilly.
He is survived by: his wife Joni Collins; his children, Stephanie (Philip Starkes) and Michael (Heather Beresford); and his grandchildren, Nikolas, Katie, Maggie, Olivia and Sam. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and countless other friends and family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Caul's Chapel (1118 Torbay Rd, Torbay, NL A1K 1A4).
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the Parkinson's Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
