He is survived by: his significant other Geri Bauer; his sons, James Rideout, John Parsons and Jody Parsons; his significant other's daughter Jennifer Parsons; his grandchildren, Aaron Rideout, Amy Rideout, Kassandra Smith, Abigail Peters, Jack Tobin, Benjamin Parsons and Joshua Parsons; his great grandchildren, Summer Rideout, Noah Rideout, Aleena Smith, Arizona Smith and Adriana Smith; and his siblings, Shirley Butt, Joanne Tibbo, McDowell, Doris Kelly, Harold Parsons, Rick Parsons and Junior Tibbo.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Caul's Chapel (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8).
