He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Ethel; and his siblings, Ruby, Carol, Marie, Leslie and Kevin.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie (John), Marie (Kent), Joey (Michelle) and Shawn (Carol Ann); his grandchildren, Andrew (Devan), Cody (Jennifer), Olivia (David), Matthew (Maysam), Kayla, Hayley (Cody) and Zachary; his great grandchild Flynn; and his siblings, Gary, Eileen (Dave), Gloria and Judy.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society in Joseph's memory.
