She is survived by : her husband Stephen MacDonald (Steve); her mother Laura Kennedy; her brother Kurt Kennedy; her sister-in-law Katherine of Calgary; her nephews, Neil, Aidan and Ewan of Calgary; her aunt Linda Kennedy of Holyrood; her brother-in-law Jim MacDonald (Shelly) of Flatrock; her nieces and nephews, Jimmy, Morgan, Jordan and Natasha; her brother-in-law Ian MacDonald (Darshini) of Aptos; her nieces and nephews, Devon and Dallas; her sister-in-law Dawn Marie Glidden of Bay Roberts; her niece Erin (Gracie); and her pet Maggie Mae.

“Sorry to hear the passing of Kathleen. Our family were great friends with the Kennedy family when we lived in Buchans. There are many memories that I can share. There is one story that I would like to share. Every Christmas my job was to take Christmas gifts on our toboggan and deliver of to family friends. The Kennedy family was a part of the gift exchange every year. Our sincere condolence to the MacDonald and Kennedy families. Rest in peace. Patrick & Lynda Mercer”
