She is survived by: her husband Sam; her son Jonathan; her siblings, Craig (Big Bro), Tony (Donna), Joanne and Lori Thorne (Larry); her mother-in-law Agnes Whitten; her siblings-in-law, Bob (Jacqulina), Greg (Marylou), Damian (Heather), Monty (late Paula), Bud (Cathy), Phillip, Aaron (Lisa), Margaret (Ed), Esther (Shawn), Rosalind, Mildred (Doug), Kay (Rick), Rosemary (Gerard) and Phyllis (Wayne); her nieces, Kathy, Charlee and Emma Whitten; and her close friends, Marg Burke, Bev Ellis, Rosalind Mitchell, Denise, Terry Hanlon, Gord, Kim McDonald, Mary King, Ralph and Kay Newell. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
