It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kevin Michael Norman (Torbay, Newfoundland), who passed away on January 1, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Paul Norman; and his parents, John "Jack" Norman and Helen "Nelly" Norman (Mesh). He is survived by: his siblings, Gerard (Betty), Joe (Josephine), Fred, Mary McGuire (George) and Rose Stroude; his parents-in-law, Henry and Ellen Sharpe; his siblings-in-law, Paul Sharpe, Wayne Sharpe, Martin Sharpe, Tony Sharpe, Teddy, Thomas Sharpe, Brian Casey, Robert Evans, Andrew Peddle and Bernadette "Bun" Sharpe; his children, Kevin Norman, Tina Noftall (Steve) and Karen Norman (Neal Dunphy); his grandchildren, Amy Tremblett (Rodney), Kevin Norman 3rd (Jessica), William Whitten, Parker Whitten, Steven Noftall and Travis Noftall; his great grandchildren, Spencer Tremblett, Kevin Norman, Annabelle and Cole Norman; his siblings, Pat (Janet), Bernard (Judy) and Patricia Casey; his siblings-in-law, Susan Norman (Freds), Sarah Sharpe-Peddle, Mary-Ellen Evans (British Columbia), Bill Stroude of Texas, USA and Ron Wotring of Nebraska, USA; his wife Margaret; and his friend Rob Hayes. He is also survived by the children, parents.
Kevin also donated blood every 6 months until his health got in the way and participated in a research study program many times to aid in those with bone density issues. Kevin was an avid member of St. Teresa's Parish and collected donations, brought offerings to the alter, gave out bulletins, picking up parishioners on the bus so they could attend mass and whatever else he could do.
