He was predeceased by: his parents, Hector Freake and Melinda Freake (Potter) of Lewisporte, NL.; his wife Elizabeth Freake (Simms); and his siblings, Annie, Jessie, Shirley, Joyce, Donna, Wesley, Frank and Robert.
He is survived by: his children, Shawn and Rayna (Paul); his grandchildren, Jillian (Dave), Madysin, Megan, Ellie, Shaye, Wesley and Benjamin; his great grandchild Lucas; his siblings, Dexter (Lorraine) and Bonnie (Robert); his siblings-in-law, Kathleen (Fred), Shirley (Melvin), Marie (Allister), Hubert and Allan (Jeanine); and his nephew Ron (Joy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
