It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leo Lawrence Fitzpatrick (Torbay, Newfoundland), who passed away on May 3, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanor Fleet Fitzpatrick and Leo Fitzpatrick; his stepmother Lucy Austin Fitzpatrick; his siblings, Richard Fitzpatrick (Rose), John Fitzpatrick, Beverly and Kevin; and his grandson John David Penney (Johnny).
He is survived by: his uncles, Rich and Kip; his cousin Fred; his siblings-in-law, Jack Gushue (Kay), Gee Gushue, Mary Escott (Ike), Josephine Lewis (Jim), Agnes Humby, Alice Clairmont and Noreen Hickey; his close friend Sarah Gushue Fitzpatrick; his children, Kevin (Marg), Eleanor (Steve), Leo, Colleen, Mike (Barb) and Diane; his grandchildren, Steven, Krystal (Adam), Krysta (Scott), Leah (Chris), Cody (Liz), Ashley (Ethan), Joey and Joseph; his great grandchildren, Jack, Olivia, Wyatt, Evan and Everett; his siblings, Marilyn (Dave), Len (Jeanette), Gerard (Eleanor), Brendan (Anna), Wayne (Denise), Pat (Donielle) and Tim (Lisa); his siblings-in-law, Christine, Fred, Francis (Sheila), Patrick (Laura), Dick (Maude), Gord (Kelly), Bill (Mary), Len (Ann Marie), Catherine (Junior) and Madeline; and his caregiver Celine Pennell.
