With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leonard Mooney (Torbay, Newfoundland), who passed away on September 20, 2021 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Sadie; and his siblings, Larry and Donna Reid. He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Paula Hender (Derek), Lynda Ryan (Steve) and Laurie Hammond (Paul); his grandchildren, Stephen, Lauryn Ryan, Leah, Kaitlynn Hammond, Jason and Dylan Hender; his siblings, Jack, Gerard (Karen), Rick (Bev), Joan Snow (Bob), Bernice Dallin, Flo Kelly and Pauline Neville (John); Marie Litzinger (Baltimore, MD) and Barbara Wells of Toronto, ON.

No flowers by request. Donations may be made in his memory to the Max Simms Memorial Camp or a charity of one's own choosing.
