He was predeceased by : his sister Catherine Penney. He is survived by : his wife Cathy; his children, Danny (Jennifer), Samantha, Rebecca, Jenny (Charley) and Curtis; his grandchildren, Cassie, Hunter, Riley, Logan, Liam, Kirsten and Sadie; and his siblings, Danny (Marie), Robert (Debbie), Ronnie (Jackie), Cecilia (Leo) and Barb.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
